Have added some more pieces today: Simplicity in Green, Opal Droplets, and What Lies Beneath.
I have been listening to a lot of Keane recently, and have tried to convey the feeling I get from this lush keyboard based music. On the surface, the music may sound positive, but with more listening, the darker side of the music - lyrics and instrumentation – presents itself. Once you look beyond the sparkle in “What Lies Beneath”, the sombre undertones gradually reveal themselves. On the wearability side – the colours are simple and earthy – neutral tones which are bound to suit many skin tones. The Keane site is worth a look even if the music does not appeal – the artwork is simply stunning!
